Moist Almond chocolate Cake (Vegan & GF)

This is a soft, delicious and moist chocolate almond cake , it's also one of the easiest recipes and cakes you can do. No need for a lot of tools, 2 bowls with a wooden spoon is enough :)

Just a small tip while you are doing this cake, do not over mix it. otherwise, it will be dense. 

you can either have it with some chocolate glaze or vegan ganache on top, or do different layers and spread sauce and fruits on top of it, Will leave it for you to create your own shape :)

here's the recipe, Hope you will enjoy it ! if you like it, let me know how it goes 


- 200 g Almond Flour 

- 1 Cup granulated Sugar or 1 cup Maple syrup

- 75 grams unsweetened cocoa powder 

- 16 g (4 tsp) baking powder 

- 450 ml almond milk 

- 35 g canola oil 

- 1 tsp Vanilla extract 

- powdered sugar or coconut for topping 


1 - Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C

2 - Combine in a bowl the flour, sugar/maple, cocoa powder, baking powder 

2 - in a separate bowl mix the remaining ingredients then add the mix to the dry ingredients 

3 - Stir with a wooden spoon until combined 

4 - Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan

5 - Bake for 30 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean 

6 - Let cool before serving
